i7 4770 K (not overclocked)
Gigabyte G1 Sniper 5 rev1 (Default settings)
Corsair H100i (push pull config)
32 GB Corsair vengance 1600 ( not overclocked)
ASUS Strix GTX 970
Samsung SSD 840 EVO 120 GB
Corsair 780T (top mount H100i with 4 fans push pull, front 2 fans, bottom 1 fan rear 1 fan, lots of air flow inside, all intake except rear)
SMPS corsair GS700
I have been using this for the last 2 years 11 months and there has been no issue at all.
Suddenly I get frame drops and stutters in game, firstly I thought its a problem with the GPU or the RAM.
I opened it up cleaned and put it back. After 30 mins of usage frame drop stars again.
I checked CPU temperatures last night and I was shocked, idle was sitting at 80 degrees and increasing, reached TJMAX 100 degrees in idle, but it never reached the throttle.
I cleaned the cooling paste of H100i and reseat the cooler for 2 times but the same problem occurred.
After re-seating it i herd some noise from the cpu part may be the motor was running, felt like air bubbles in water.
I have updated my BIOS also and I did a fresh install of Windows10 few days back
I have no idea about this high temperatures and I have 4-5 days warranty left for my CPU and MOBO.
I am trying to get a stock cooler today and will check the temperatures, if it runs normal with the stock cooler then i will give the H100i for RMA .
Any Help will be great!!!
THANKS.
