Question intel i7 4770k vs i7 4790 non k

hi i want purchase a used proccesor either a i7 4770k which i have found for £150 vs or a i7 4790non k which is £100 im not planning to overclock. performance wise which will be faster i7 4770k vs i7 4790 both stock

They both perform on pretty the same level at stock speeds.

Trust me, You will overclock, when Your rig will become old enough and won't be able to keep up with new GPU's. (which is now actually.... :) )

So i would definitely go for K (for future), but if You really don't feel like it and don't want to do it, just go non-k. If You go for K, You will also need good cooling.

ok if i get the 4770k and dont decide to overclock it would it be ok to use stock cooler on 4770k for now?.

Intel's stock coolers are never okay :) It will just work, won't burn etc.
But... You want to overclock, trust me.

If You decide to go 4th series, then please...
Get some cheap 4770K and a good cooling for it. There's no such thing as K processors on stock coolers. You just don't do this, it's a crime and should be punished :)
You don't have to overclock, but You'll always have that possibility, when You see, that Your CPU bottlenecks.
