Intel i7 4790 k + gtx 980 ti not booting up

I am building my first build and I it doesn't boot up
Specs:
Asus z97-a motherboard
Intel core i7 4790k cpu
Msi nvidia gtx 980 ti gpu
HyperX Savage 8 GB (2 x 4 GB)
Corsair 750 w psu

After about 30 seconds the fans on the gpu stop spinning.

Try removing the card and testing (monitor connected to the motherboard).
Is there a led that stays red after starting the board?

The the LEDs turn red when i power the system on and then turn back off again. All the fans spin normally. when i connect it to the monitor the screen flashes for two seconds and then displayed no signal

Try leaving single RAM module installed. Test each slot.
If still the same, try posting a picture of the board.
