Hello forum,

Recently I build my gaming pc (without GPU) because my old computer was getting outdated.
I decided to buy all the components except for the GPU (which I'm gonna buy later as soon when I have the money for it...).

Here is a list of my specs:
- Processor: Intel i7 core 6700k
- CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper T4
- PSU: Sharkoon WPM600 Bronze, 600 Watt
- RAM: Corsair 16 GB DDR4-3000 Kit
- Motherboard: ASUS Z170 Pro Gaming
- HDD: Seagate Barracuda 7200.14, 1 TB
- SSD: SanDisk Ultra II, 240 GB SSD
- Case: Sharkoon BW9000-W

Since I don't have a GPU, I'm using the integrated graphics of my Intel i7 core 6700k.
The problem however is that my processor says that there is only 512 mb of dedicated VRAM, while in the bios of my motherboard it says that i've assigned 1024 mb.

According to the specs on the Intel website, the processor it's Graphics Max Dynamic Frequency is 1,15 GHz.

How can I get my dedicated VRAM up to 1 GB?

Kind Regards,

I'm using my integrated graphics momentarily to play games. However some games need 1 gb of dedicated ram.
So it is not able/necessary to have 1024 mb of dedicated VRAM?

Then I guess I would have to wait until I have the money for my GPU :')
