I just bought a new i7-7700k, ASUS Z270E motherboard, and 16 gB of DDR4 RAM.
I've got everything plugged in correctly and the system boots like normal, but any resource-intensive process like gaming is much slower than it should be, with insane input latency and odd stuttering issues.
I'm upgrading from an AMD FX-8350 and currently have an 8gB GTX 1070. I have all of the newest drivers from the ASUS website and have removed all of the old AMD drivers. I've tried using both 8 gig sticks of RAM individually in each slot and tried booting again on my old hardware (and the old hardware still works perfectly fine after reinstalling AMD drivers) Any other troubleshooting tips?
