Intel i7 860 upgrade

Friends,

I have an i7 860 along with MSI GTX 770 (4GB) and 8GB tracker RAM @1600. I have been waiting a long time to upgrade (e-itch) although there is simply nothing wrong with the performance of 860, its just showing ageing in some applications. I was hoping to get 4770K but then not many people are impressed with it being a tock and other minimal improvements over 3770K.

So should i wait for Broadwell or go with either 4770K or 3770K.

Depends what you'll do with it, most games utilize a maximum of 4 cores, though that is changing quickly. The 4770k is better, but the question is, is it worth your money?

I would wait for Broadwell. You could always get a better cooler and overclock to get a bit more speed out of your 860?
