Both. At stock operations and at good temperatures, any CPU will last 7+ years easy.

Durability as in how long until the processor breaks or starts malfunctioning? That's usually not really a concern, the vast majority of the time something else will fail (e.g. the motherboard) or the CPU will become obsolete before the CPU actually fails.
