Intel i7 or Ryzen? Streaming

Hello , i'm kinda in a rush to upgrade my cpu to play cs go and stream and do youtube.

i have a gtx 1070 gpu and an i7 4790 non k
someone told me to go for the i7 8700k but unfortunately i can't get it here where i live.

i wanted to get like 350 stable fps + on cs go , so it wont fall to less than 250 while streaming , i don't even know if it's possible or not but right now i get 240+ while playing only with my setup , while streaming it goes to 170 sometimes .

All of this because i'm gonna be using a 240hz monitor .

You'd want the highest IPC CPU then, which would be an overclocked (probably) i7-7700k. Unless you can get hands on a i5-8600k, but I doubt that if you can't get the 8700k.

Yes, doable, BUT the 8700k would be money much more well spent IMO.

Definite no on the cooler. You need a serious Noctua air cooler or water cooling for the 7700k. They run HOT.

Skylake-X was mostly a flop, and then you're tied into an expensive motherboard. The Coffee Lake series brings the same thing to the table with better, more consistent performance. I'd avoid.

So i should really get the 8700k , any motherboard recomendations and Ram and coolers?
Wouldnt want to go very overboard with the price xD

Cooler - Noctua NH-D14 or Cryorig R1 Ultimate
RAM - take your pick. I'm a fan of G-skill Ripjaws and Crucial Ballistix.
