Question intel i9 14900k temps

I've been told this cpu runs hot. Its routinely hitting 100c in games. Is that normal for this cpu? I don't experience and chugging and it runs stability tests just fine. I searched the forum for this exact question and didn't find anything specific to the temps for this cpu.

I'd expect it would charge forward to 100 as long as you don't have enough cooling to bring the temp down. That's what they do per Intel design. You can decide whether or not to be comfortable with that.

You should be able to see if there is any thermal throttling with a tool such as HWInfo.
