Question Intel i9-9900KS vs i9-9900K

i9-9900KS has been released!
It’s Intel’s best consumer CPU!
But how good is it compared to the i9-9900K?
Well, it’s anywhere between 1% to 8% depending on the application.
It’s definitely more power hungry.

The warranty is just 12 months, instead of 36!

another 14nm crap....it only has 12months becouse they OCed the living crap out of the CPU like you do at home...so better off buying a 9900k with 36 months and do the same to him...you pay less get the same....and have more garantee. thank you

If budget isn't of concern get the 9900ks because you are almost guaranteed to get a better binned cpu. If budget is of concern and you are somewhat technical, there's a good chance you could easily overclock the regular 9900k close to that spec.

The i9-9900KS is best for serial processing due to its high frequency.
In certain scenarios, like music production or gaming, the frequency of the CPU is far more important than the number of core counts.
But for most users parallel computing is the more important one.

Recommending this CPU depends on what you’re doing with your PC.
