intel ich8m sata controller driver

I have a acer aspire 5715z laptop, and i want to install the xp, the probl is that i need the intel ich8m sata controller driver
and i cant find it anywhere, if anyone can help me i'll be very appreciated.

You can get them from Intel.

this might be stupid but i have been on intel's site for 3 hr looking for that driver and i can't find it any help with a link please?

the driver you are looking for is for a WINBOND HID CIR RECEIVER OR THE WINBOND HID FAMILY HERE IS THE LINK WHERE TO DOWNLOAD THE DRIVER ITS FROM INTEL :

OR GO VIA THE NORMAL ROUTE OF FINDING THE DRIVER ON INTEL WEBSITE:

go to intel download center
look for chipsets, select that
select laptop chipsets
select mobile intel 965 express chipset family
select drivers
select operating system which is windows xp
select the appropriate download of your board whether is 32 bit or 64 bit which is written as x64 or x86
presto you have your drivers accept and download. go to your devices manager and update your drivers from the location you saved
