Intel iCore vs AMD Ryzen, WHICH ONE???

Hi, can someone tell me which is better? Not just for gaming (I'm not THAT big in gaming), but for general uses. I'm also a really small youtuber, so does that affect the editing quality or whatever? Thanks.

There is no "one size fits all" answer. What budget do you have? What existing parts do you have? What software titles do you run the most?

Ryzen gives you more cores for cheaper which is an advantage for general purpose/parallel tasks. You might still have personal preferences towards Intel though.

AFAIK editing is highly parallel so ryzen could be faster in that department.

A 1800x is better than a i3 and a 7700k is better than a R3....
