News Intel lists non-K and T-series Core Ultra 200S processors for desktop PCs

I am so confused by all of these SKUs. Are a great number of these NOT going to be available to the consumer and slated purely for OEM? Why can't they (Intel, AMD, nVidia) simply have three products (low, medium and high) for the consumer...

Consider 12th gen. That gen had tons of SKUs all for sale simultaneously. We had the G6900, G7400, 12100F, 12100, 12300, 12400, 12400F, 12500, 12600, 12600KF, 12600K , 12600F, 12700, 12700F, 12700K, 12700KF, 12900, 12900F, 12900K, 12900KF, 12900KS.
whew! That's a lot. And don't even get me started on mobile...
