Greetings. First, sorry for my English.
I bought this M.2 SSD several days ago.
I tried CrystalDiskMark and you can see here my results:

Is this normal?
My SSD should have 540MB/s read and 490MB/s write.
That write speed is really weird...

Second problem,
My SSD is in bios recognized as a sata interface, isnt that weird? Isnt that reason of my slow write speed? I upgraded bios today on my MSI Z170A Gaming M3 and there's new option "M.2 Genie"
What is that? Why I can't turn it on?

Solution
it said up to speed. usually lower capacity have slower speed, intel kind of fuzz up the #.

other brand does it too. like samsung

Sequential Write performance measurements based on TurboWrite technology. The sequential write performances after TurboWrite region are 150MB/s(120GB), 300MB/s(500GB) and 520MB/s(1TB).

so if the intel said upto 480, that for the 480GB drive. and your is 120GB, so much less than 480
It seems normal. you have standard SATA 6 ACHI SSD in an M.2 form. Its not a NVMe card so those speeds are normal.

Intel even list these speeds "120GB READ 540 WRITE 480 24,000 80,000 M.2 (80 mm)" Though they give the version when the drive is blank and not used. Write speeds drop fairly far when the drive is full or been used.

But Crystaldiskmark was the only program that was running at the time. I have only Windows 10 on SSD, it's not full.

Solution
Hi, have you installed the Intel Rapid Storage Driver? In my laptop, the SSD speeds (specifically write speed) were low for SSD (about 90MB/s). I've installed it and it went to 450-500MB/s. (850evo 250GB)
