intel management engine interface

i installed win 7 x64 yesterday then i have motherboard z97x ud5h bk when i install ( intel management engine interface ) from the motherboard's dvd it saya this platform is not supported i downloaded this driver from the mother board website also i got the same error. i have tried many things all came in vain. any help plz ?

Intel Management Interface is not part of the Z97 chipset. Is't part of the VPRO components to facilitate management in enterprise and servers. You will find it in the business-oriented chipset drivers, not the Z-series chipset drivers.

Fair enough. I am trying to figure out why it is included on Z97 boards. You are technically correct, it isn't part of the chipset. It is however included on most Z97 boards.

What purpose does the IME serve on consumer boards?

the intel management engine interface is a must to be able to install app center without it i can't install it. i remember that i nstalled the IMEI before and it worked .
