Is it possible to use optane in matrix raid ? What does he mean here ? Raid 0 and Raid 1 with 240GB SSD + 1TB HDD + 16GB Intel Optane

Are they charging you extra for raid?
I wonder if they know that the Optane can't/won't accelerate drives in raid.
I figure they are just using mumbo-jumbo to get extra monies from you. It sounds like you have 1 SSD and 1 HDD and raiding them two together would be a sin.

Normally you would use the Optane to accelerate the HDD. The SSD is usually fast enough by itself but then we don't know the brand. It could be a crappy or old one.
