[Intel MB] Help uninstalling CD drive, I know how it sounds.

Hi! I am new here.

I need help uninstalling my CD drive.

I know that sounds funny, but when I removed it from my MOBO, the bootup process will take up to 15 minutes longer when normally it takes around 1 to 2 minutes.

Help?

You prob need to go into the bois and take it off auto on the primary controller

Yeah I think kickeme21 is right.Your mobo is trying to auto detect the drive.

The auto detect can tack a long time if the drive is missing.
