Hello! I recently re-installed Windows 10 on a PC that had it before. I re-installed through an install disc, not through Windows reset. After installing my network adapter’s drivers (on a disc) I noticed that in device manager it said the device was disabled. I tried enabling it, but it gave me error code 10 and stated the device failed to start. Then i remembered having an issue like this about 3 years ago when I first installed Windows 10 on this PC. Also it was working fine before re-install. Therefore I know for a fact that this is some sort of issue that isn’t related to hardware failure. All I remember from the original install regarding fixing this problem is I was tinkering with the device, driver, services, settings and something I did fixed it through trial and error. I wish I remembered what it was however I was only 13 at the time. If you have any ideas on how to fix this problem please share them with me. Thank you!

Edit: If relevant my motherboard is an ASUS Z170-E.
