Question Intel NUC 10… eGPU? New Monitor?

A few years ago, I ditched my tower and purchased an Intel NUC 10 i7-10710U. It currently is hooked up to two (cheap) 1080p HP monitors, which for the most part, has been just fine with me as I am not a gamer, and only dabble here and there with video editing. However, I am an avid coin collector and recently purchased a digital microscope with the expectation that I’d get just as crystal clear images as those of a popular YouTuber who uses the exact same scope. Needless to say, I haven’t come anywhere close. I have tried everything in an attempt to address this problem; all to no avail.

Would upgrading to a better monitor possibly help? What about getting/making an eGPU? Please, any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Which scope model did you buy?
be sure to install the correct driver of your scope and select the correct resolution and refresh rate for it
drivers are all up to date?
