Correct. ark.intel.com says the NUC 8 Pro's and their Wiskey Lake CPUs only support PCIe 3.0.

I think the mistake was that the NUCs have a x4 NVMe slot, which might've gotten somehow confused with PCIe 4.

we are in 2020 and they stil put usb2 ports !!!! what a waste of space ... the chipser for sure supports more than one USB3.0 ...

usb2 might be needed for some peripherals and maybe when installing W10..
Cant have too many USb3 on a NUC.

why needed ? anything usb2 will work on USB3.

also you can have many usb3 on a NUC ...
