intel nuc living room

Im going to buy http://ark.intel.com/products/78953/Intel-NUC-Kit-DN2820FYK for my parents, they do not need to have top-tier tech, it will be just for watching movies and browsing web.

My questions: will it work with this hdd Seagate Momentus SpinPoint M8 500GB and this ram Kingston SO-DIMM 4GB DDR3L 1600MHz HyperX Impact CL9 Dual Voltage Black Series?

If yes, i will install there win 8.1, do you think it will be possible to play 720p or 1080p and stream videos,? Or will it be able to play some old games(eg sims, old nfs...)? I guess browsing web will be fine, hm maybe strange with 50'' screen.

The meory has to be "DDR3L 1066, 1.35V" - one stick, max 8gb - so not 1600

It has 1 sata port to install your hard drive.

You can also buy the nuc with ram and a hdd in it eg http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1411&products_id=27951

It only has Intel® Celeron® Processor N2820 cpu with limited integrated graphics per http://ark.intel.com/products/79052/Intel-Celeron-Processor-N2820-1M-Cache-up-to-2_39-GHz but it should be ok for movies and browsing.

I don't know if it has to be 1066, doesn't it just use 1066 out of 1600mhz? Even they used ram with 1600mhz in that build http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=25757

Most 1600 ram is 1.5V. The 1.35V ram would be OK because it would just be downclocked to 1066.
