Hello Friends,
I am building a PC for the first time. My Budget is 500$ (Monitor not included). I plan on Using my PC for next 2 years. I live in India. Here AMD products are priced 50 to 100$ more than Intel (Ryzen 5 1600X is 60$ more compared to core i5-7500, Nvidia products (RX 480 is 100$ more than GTX 1060 3GB almost same price as 6GB). I Dont Know anything about AMD processors. Which build is better (Pentium G4560 + GTX 1060 3GB) or (i3-7100 + GTX 1060) or (budget AMD processor + GTX 1060 3GB). I want to use my PC for Gaming like GTA V, battlefield, project cars, F1, etc. I want decent 30 to 60 FPS.
Please suggest alternatives or better options. If AMD suggest a Processor and Motherboard as well.

Don't get a budget AMD processor and a 1060, it could bottleneck it.
Also, I don't recommend getting a Pentium with a 1060, it will also bottleneck it in some games.

the i3-7100 can handle the 1060, but beware there might be some slight bottleneck in some games.
But if you can, you should look into something like a Ryzen 1400 with a cheap motherboard like an MSI B350 PC mate or an Asus Prime board.

of course, research the internet for benchmarks and stuff just so you know what those components are capable of.

Is the 70$ spent extra on ryzen 1400 worth it ?

its not a good idea to go with g4560 if u r gonna game BF1 and project cars. they r cpu intensive.

GPU https://www.newegg.com/global/in/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125964&ignorebbr=1
RAM https://www.newegg.com/global/in/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820313742&ignorebbr=1
MOBO https://www.newegg.com/global/in/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157772&ignorebbr=1

total : 32330 + 5650

get a antec vp 450p PSU, 1tb barracuda or WD blue and case from amazon or md computers. would suggest the corsair 100r or deepcool tessaract from mdcomputers.

so along with UPS, monitor, with the PSU,HDD,case and others u r looking @ around 65k total.

P.S. : u can update ur mobo to latest bios in a local comp store near u for like 500 bucks max? it should ship with the latest bios. in the worst case, just requires a little sweet talk and RS.500 ;)
