I have a plan to build a budget gaming pc using Intel Pentium G3258 (not planning to overclock), but I have read something that it only support 1333MHz memory but when I used the pcpartpicker.com, after I tried putting a 1333MHz memory, it says that "Parts are incompatible" and when I clicked on it, it showed that the component that's incompatible is the Memory, oh by the way, I the motherboard I'm pairing with it is the MSI H81M-E33 and Apotop 4gb DDR3 1600MHz, any answer to this? Or maybe suggestion guys?

According to Intel, it only supports DDR3 1333MHz Memory.

(3M Cache, 3.20 GHz) Specification

The good news is that the 1600MHz RAM will work fine but at 1333MHz.

Even though you've...
Not much point to the G3258 if you aren't overclocking. Would probably get an i3 or something if possible.

Are you sure it is complaining about the memory and not the fact that the motherboard may not support the CPU without a BIOS update? You can use practically any DDR3 with that thing and it will clock to whatever will work.

Quote:
"The Pentium G3258 falls on the lower end of the Pentium bracket. The frequency is high, at 3.2 GHz and matching the G3420, but it comes with only DDR3-1333 support (signified by the G32xx rather than G34xx naming). While this usually does not matter much for overclockers who will likely overclock the memory as well, it does have an effect due to the binning process. Enthusiasts already know that CPUs with DDR3-1600 support can use memory kits above 2666 MHz, but the use of DDR3-1333 on the Pentium-AE CPU may be limiting. It should, theoretically, mean that Intel has a lot more CPUs from the production line that fit into this category."

Even though you've an entry level motherboard, you can still overclock your G3258 on MSI H81M-E33 like a champ, after upgrading to the latest BIOS. Check this video guide:
