Intel pentium G3258 overclocking

My CPU, for some reason, is at 60-70% usage even when the computer has only got task manager open. I was wondering if overclocking would fix/help this problem.

CPU: Intel Pentium G3258 3.2GHz
With a
Akasa Nero 3 50.5 CFM cooler.
Mobo: Asus B85M-G Micro ATX
RAM: Patriot Signature 4GB (1 x 4GB) DDR3-1333
Graphics: PowerColor Radeon R9 270 2GB
OS: Window 7 Pro 64bit

I think there is problem somewhere else not really to oc for fix it...

Sounds like your computer may have a virus. What virus protection are you using?

I fixed the problem, ironically it was the anti-virus program using up the usage.
