Intel Pentium G4400 compatibility

I have a spare Intel Pentium G4400 and it says it supports Z170 which i know is also Very similar to the Z270 chipset. Would this build work. Pc part picker says it does and i know most swear by them

CPU- G4400
Mobo- MSI Z270 Mortar
PSU- Corsair CX450
RAM- G.Skill NT 4GB 2133
GPU- MSI 960 Gaming 4GB

Yes. 200 series boards are backwards compatible with Skylake CPUs.
