intel pentium g4560 gtx 1050 ti

is the pentium g4560 and gtx 1050 ti a good combo? i want to play 1080p with the settings at medium or higher. i will be building a pretty good pc in October-November time frame. i all ready have a case, psu, and hdd, so to get the processor, motherboard, and ram it would cost me arond $330, cant go above that.

thats a good combo. if u want to save up, u can struggle with the on board grahics of g4560 and get a g4560/asrock fatality k4 z270 and 1x8gb of 3000mhz ram now later in november, u can go for 16 gigs. ur choice.

so, i have a lga1150 board, thats why i would have to buy a new motherboard and ram for the g4560. i just realized though, if i stick with lga1150 i can get a intel i5 4460 for the same price as the other cpu, motherboard, and ram together. if i got a gtx 1060 6gb and the i5 4460 i would be around $400, so i would be over budget, but how much more performance could i get with the gtx 1060 and i5. could i play 1080p ultra 60fps?

Settings and FPS vary from game to game. Certain games are more cpu demanding while others are more gpu demanding. There are very few games which scale evenly on both components. Having said that, most recent games will require more powerful cpu/gpu for ultra performance. However on not so recent games, you should be able to achieve ultra.
Having said that, being a true quad core, the 4460 should give you better performance than the g4560.

thank you! there's a gtx 1060 3gb for $170, but there's a gtx 1060 6gb for $220. which ones a better value?

6gb is a better card for $50 extra. Will give you much more performance than the 3gb card.

That's a sub par psu. Get the Antec vp 450 p from Amazon. Also, try for 2x4gb of 2400mhz rams.
