I just bought a gtx 750ti and my g620 is bottlenecking it while playing dota2, i'm getting a 60fps on a 60hz monitor 1080p resolution but its not constant and my cpu is on full load especially in team fight.

Do you guys think i3-3220 is enough to get me a constant 60fps on dota2? I'm not on a tight budget but i just want to play dota2 in constant 60fps.

About 200$, i'm considering i3-3220, i5-3570 or i7-3770.

get the cheapest i5 available..... even if it is sandy bridge, its only old by generation, but up to mark with current gen in performance..... but anyway, a i3 will more than suffice 750ti......

Is it ok if i get i3 3220 first just to play dota2 at 60fps, i mean i can play dota2 at 60fps now but sometimes it falls down to 35 when too many things are going on in the screen. I'm also planning to upgrade my mobo and and procie but not for now cause i just bought a 24" monitor, case, psu, and 750 ti. My wallet has been burned lol.

play dota2 in windowed mode, open task manager, and into performance tab, see if cpu spikes to 100% when heavy action takes place..... isolate whether the CPU is the problem first......
