Hello,

I am about to sell my old 07' Intell E4500 2.2ghz and buy a Pentium Dual Core 2.9 Ghz G645.

Which CPU is better in terms of speed and medium end gaming? Please Help..

Solution
No, you'll not get with a 9500gt playable fps even with low resolutions (i mean really low like 800x600).
Those games requires a minimum : 8800GTS/9800GT for nvidia cards.
A 9500gt is far worse than those old cards.

Hi, Thank you for responding...

I stay in India (not sure where you are from) our capital's wholesale market is serving G 630, G 645 only for dual core and than i3s.. 540, 2120 & 3220.

I would love to buy a 3220 (3rd Gen) It goes a little over budget for now but I'l start saving for it.

Would I be able to play Battlefield 3 , AC 3 , COD B.OPS II in low/medium settings {considering rest of my hardware is sufficient for the game} ???

Ok my system config is ...

H61M-DS2 Gigabyte - Mobo
Intel G645 2.9 Ghz - CPU
4 Gb Corsair - RAM
500 GB Samsung - HDD
Nvidia GT9500 1 GB - G.Card

Now, Should I have any issues with BF3 , AC 3 , COD BOP II ?? (Low/Med Setting ?)

I would definitely get a better card , but just in case if I don't are you implying to the fact that I wouldn't be able to play those games at low/med settings ??

Add a little more specificity please...

Thank you, just before we close this thread I have 1 last question from you..

If I change to say a 6670 ATI tommorow , the G645 Processor would support me and I can get playable FPS for "ALL" these games right ?
