Intel Pentium G860 + Radeon HD 7850. Does this work?

Hey guys, I am starting to buy pc parts so that I can build it soon. One thing I was bugged the most was the cpu. Do I really need an i5 or atleast an i3 to get the Radeon HD 7850 run good or is the pentium
enough. How would the cheap CPU affect my gaming?

I wouldn't buy a dual core for gaming, unless you plan in replacing it in a year. I recommend getting an FX 6300, as it is better than the i3 and less expensive too.

It won't work good on games like:GTA,BF3,Crysis

I'd say a 965be if budget-constrained.
unless you already have an 1155 board.

Oh yeah, I think I am switching to AMD now. I have been an Intel user for my whole life and it wouldn't hurt switching to a different CPU. Intel is overpriced and yes, it is better than the i3.
