Hi there,
so I have a fps drop while playing counter strike 1.6...
the game starts at a decent frame rate however the longer i play(which is about 10min) the more it drops. I downloaded the CPU-Z program and noticed when i start the game my core speed is around 1995MHz, then it drops to 931MHz while the game is still running(alt tabbing to desktop would increase the core speed back to 1995MHz for a minute or two and then its back to 931). Ive noticed drops in the fps when the core speed drops. Is there a way to tell(order) my cpu not to do that?
Ive tested a couple of Graphics drivers and i cant overclock the cpu, because my motherboard does not have that option.
My notebook specs are 4gb of ram(666MHz if that means anything)
Intel Pentium P6100 2GHz
IGPU
Thanks in advance!
P.S I run CS 1.6 on the lowest settings and have adjusted all the power options to max performance.
