Win XP SP3. Most UTD drivers. Have WPA2-PSK selected and passcode entered but when it tried to connect, the connection window appears and then vanishes. It will not connect.

I dont think so. It's a DIR-857. I am checking the admin console and I have 4 wireless G units connected to it.
When ever I try to connect to it, i see tha "windows is connecting to the network" for about a minute or two then it vanishes with no connection.

I had the same problem on an XP machine. Try this:

1. In the device configuration settings Advanced tab, select the Ad Hoc QoS Mode and uncheck the "Use Default Value box". Select WMM Disabled from the drop down list.
2. On the Power Management tab, uncheck the box that says "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power"

Hope this helps!
