Intel Processor under £250?

Can someone suggest an Intel processor under £250 as well as a motherboard that is compatible for under £200?

What does it need to do?

At that sort of money you can get an i7-4790K and a top of the range ASUS/Gigabyte/MSI motherboard, but I wouldn't recommend them unless you have money to burn. Alternatively, you can pick up a quad core i5 with motherboard for under £200 and still have a cracking good machine.

I already have 8GB of RAM and an EVGA GTX 770 2GB GPU. I want to play Far Cry 4 (when it comes out) on maximum settings and the same with GTA V (when it comes out).
