Your MB (Q57) is the lga1156 type. it has the pcie2.0X16 slot. In theory any newer GPU should work with the pcie2.0 x16, but if the MB does not have newer BIOS, and you will have problem because the MB needs the newer BIOS to recognize the new hardware. And in other hand, even the GPU like gtx1060 can work, but the CPU will bottleneck the gtx1060.
