intel Q6600 2.4Ghz stepping G0 normal voltage?

hi guys! I'm such a newbie here n' I have no idea bout all these stuff so I need some help from you guys, I'd very appriciated it . I just got a Q6600 2.4Ghz intel stepping G0. I ran it at 100% full load in 3ds max rendering (not OCing) the core voltage stayed at 1.232 V . I'm wondering if that's normal ? because I heard it should been lower at 1.1 or something. Thanks alot!!!

Your voltage is alright. It is one of the higher voltage Q6600 chips out there but still within spec.

Well.....we cant really tell you whats good or whats right until we know the VID of your chip. But 1.2 is fine for a Q6600.

If its running that stock thats good. Most Q6600 G0s run at about 1.275-1.35v stock. Mine runs at 1.25v with a 3GHz OC. I had it running at 1.18v stock.

but you are fine. 1.23v is pretty good. You can probably OC it easily without much of a voltage raise.
