Hi, my Intel Q6600 G0 has been running quite hot (Can't overclock because it gets way to hot) since I used my old tube of Arctic Silver Ceramique that I bought in August 2007, and I found out that is has separated because there is liquid coming out of the tube, is there any way to properly mix it without making a mess of the paste and syringe? :ouch:
Maybe I'll have to end up buying a MX-2 or MX-3 tube even do I do really have the money for it :pfff:

well go with them then.

AS5 is no more risk now than it was 5 years ago and it was fine then, the heat spreader means that conductivity is irrelevant. it'll be 1-2C different to modern stuff.

agreed with the above. AS5 is solid. Not great, but easy to apply, and doesn't crack or dry out quickly. Ceramique obviously does. I've heard really good things about Noctua's thermal paste. Forget what it's called though.
