Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4460 CPU @ 3.20GHz bottlenecks with GTX 1080

I have changed my old videocard with a GTX 1080. When I try to game the CPU stays at 90-100% and the GPU 50 - 100%
Do I need to replace my old processor with a new one?

Yes. By todays standards that's a weak quad core matched with a high end gpu.

You don't necessarily have to get a new cpu though. You can get an older 4790/K or 4770/K.
