Intel r g45 g43 express chipset review

If I have Vista Home Premium (x64) from 2-11-2008, is it recommended that I install the Intel (R) G/45/G43 Express Chipset? Will it mess up any of my viewing?

As long as your hardware met or exceed the system requirement of the OS, you will be fine. It doesn't have to be what they recommend. List your hardware specification and I will have a look.

Thanks for responding! I'm not sure what hardware specification you mean, but my system info report states that:I have "Windows Vista Home Premium Platform OEMAct, Version 6.0.6002 service Pack 2 Build 6002." Under "Other OS Description - Not Available." Loaded on Dell Studio 540S.

OK, CPU and ram are fine. What about your graphics card? Are you using a dedicated GPU or using the onboard graphics?

I have the Intel G/45 G/43 Express chipset already! Gee, i just read Yahoo answers to find out how to determine my graphics card, and in my devices, the adapter listed is the above!
