I did a clean install of windows 8 and it worked perfectly with Intel hd graphics as display adapter now I upgraded to windows 10 using the free upgrade for those who have assistive technology. Now my computer is showing that the display adapter is only using Microsoft Basic Display and I've been searching for more than an hour for HD graphics driver for an inboard graphics of i3 540 I don't know what to do anymore. Please help this is my build:

Mobo: DH55TC
Procie: i3 540
RAM: 12gb
Graphics: Should be intel r hd graph but it shows only microsoft basic display

I searched for i3 540's inboard graphics and intel shows that it is indeed Intel R HD but My pc only shows basic display adapter please help!

There is no driver for 10. There wasn't one for 8 either although there is one listed for 8, it's actually just the 7 driver. Windows update will still load the same 7/8 driver on 10 or you can do it manually. Some people were reporting issues though. I'm in a similar boat except I'm using 2nd gen not 1st but it works perfectly fine on 10. You have 3 options if it doesn't work. 1) Deal with basic functions with the basic windows driver. 2) Get a gpu. 3) Downgrade windows.

Can you please send me the link for the 7 driver? Would be a great help thank you very much.
