There were articles in May that MSFT cancelled their Surface Neo product, which was the original target for the Lakefield chip.

I'd say lakefield was more of a proof-of-concept that hybrid architectures can work in X86-64, and I'm sure Intel would learn the lesson (if any, I'm not sure) from Lakefield and improve it with Alder Lake
