I would like to get a pair of better performing Graphics cards, cost is not a great issue. My cooling is adequate to run hotter cards. I want to play some of the newer games.

If you can afford it, go for something like a GTX 670/680 or if you prefer AMD, an HD7950/7970.

Yes, just be sure to remove the old graphics drivers first. Especially if you're going for an AMD card.

I forgot one major item, I have a Samsung UN32EH5000FXZA monitor, also checking the cost of the 670's I thought it best to go for a EVGA SuperClocked+ 03G-P4-3663-KR GeForce GTX 660 Ti 3GB 192-bit GDDR5 at good savings. What is your opinion. Thank you

That should be enough when playing on 1080p. You might want to consider the MSI 660Ti Power Edition 2GB, as it has a non-stock cooler, so it's more quiet and cooler.
