hmmmm im gonna be the first to say that they should put the screen on the outside of the main screen so you can operate your laptop with the lid closed, say like media player or something. OR introduce slide out OLED panels and have them act as extra monitors though smaller. The tiny 4x3 displays on the keyboard pretty much make it look like a space for more buttons rather than being actual screens. If wanna multi touch so bad why not introduce it into the trackpad? or better yet make a giant OLED trackpad that is around the size of Apple's and have that serve as the multi touch?

I would rather have one larger extra screen than the smaller ones shown, it seems disjointed and wasted space. Even one step further I would rather have a dual screen laptop then you wouldn't need any of those smaller three to begin with. I could see maybe one of those to show new email messages or similar info but not three.

Dyseman: It's just like the desktop PCs that elite corporate stock traders use, they have 3 to 8 monitors on their workstation, but they're being driven by crappy PCI (not PCIe) graphics cards, and have noticeable flicker and lag.

I remember, when Vista was first introduced by Microsoft, that they had a guy on a slide holding a closed laptop with a small LCD screen on the outside of the laptop lid. I always wondered where that idea went.

Seems a bit stupid...

The smaller screens are for multi-tasking? Okay, there are tasks buttons on the task bar, etc. A larger single screen would make more sense. Imagine the extra power the screens will require... that do nothing that couldn't be done with a keyboard or mouse.

Now... if it allows the geek to watch 4 different porn videos at the same time (full screen) - then perhaps. Since MS's crappy media player can only run once.

Real users will use Media player Classic. Which you can run 2, 4 + videos at the same time.

Hm.... remember Intel Centrino Santa Rosa. It has 2 display like some clamshell handphone. The consept is nice although I rather confuse how to make the secondary screen to complay with road warrior or durrable thing or military standard. Finally it is almost third generation pass (santa rosa refresh, centrino 2, new centrino) so where is the secondary screen?!?!?

Yea! if one screen ran iPhone apps, I could play Maddon 10 on one, instead of having my iPhone on a stand next to my setup today. In fact, just integrate the entire iPhone into the laptop, and I would be happy!

that is actually pretty cool. i wouldnt mind seeing that idea show up on other laptops if they can bring the cost down.

Actually it would be quite a nifty DJing laptop. Mixing, adding effects, editing filters, searching for music; the list can go on and on.
