Hi, i just ordered a new pc two days ago. It costed me around 1850$. (I am aware that the price for what i am getting is high, but in Denmark we have high taxes on electronic components, and because i do not want to risk building it myself i get the online store to do it.) I bought the MSI gtx 970 (Twin Frozr) and a intel i7 6700 (not k version.) I am pretty confident with all my components exept for my cpu. I am not planning on overclocking for some years, so that is why i choosed the non k version. (and also because i ended over my budget, so had to 'borrow' some money from my parents. Just kidding' they will get them back.)
I have used the last two days being afraid that i ordered a bad cpu, and that my pc will be a failure because of that. It took me over a year to get these money, and i dont wanna see them come to a waste. I cannot find any good reviews on the i7 6700 non k version, so i am asking in here: Is it a good cpu, should i cancel it and buy i i5 6400, 6500 or 6600? Ofc. if i cancel my order i have to wait some days for the money to refund before i can order the pc again, but i can do it if i am really screwed with that CPU. What should i do? My brother is coming next week after my current pc, and i am not a fan of not having a pc for weeks. I plan on upgrading the pc in some years, also another reason that i did not choose the most expensive CPU.
Thx. for all the help, i am a bit nervous about the CPU currently.
