intel SSD writing speed low

I bought a intel 540s 120GB SSD 7-8 months ago, I run a test with crystal diskmark x64,
I saw read speed maximum is 555MB/s (as advertised) and write speed is only 201 MB/s which was advertised as 450MB/s second, Why is that ? is MY SSD dying ?

depends on the age of the ssd and how full it is. if it fills up the write slow down.

Age is 6-7 months, out off 112 GB ,77GB is free

7-8 months is nothing , your SSD can live 5 years ...

it is most likely becoming full , it is advised to keep 20% of the SSD free to stay fast.

120GB drives are all slow in writing ... the 500MB/s speed is for the 250GB+ not the 120GB
