Hoping this is the appropriate section, I am finally upgrading my 7yr old PC( Oc'd i5 2500k)
I have a few questions about the transition process.
I am moving from an i5 2500k to an r5 3600, budget only allows me to replace core components atm, and those would be CPU, Motherboard and RAM.
I plan on reusing an old sandisk SSD which has my OS installed on it. Id prefer to not have to do a fresh install, can it be as simple as uninstalling intel chipset drivers etc, plugging in the new hardware and installing the new amd drivers?
Would there be anything else Id need to do in terms of optimization?
If the above wishful option isnt possible, and I need to do a fresh install, I have a genuine Wins 10 Pro key linked to my Microsoft account, How do I transfer it to a fresh install?
