Intel Turbo boost while overclocking

Hey folks.

I already asked this question but my forum kinda drifted somewhere else so now i'm asking it straight down to buissness.

I'm using OC genie on my MSI motherboard and it boost my i7 4790k to 4.4Ghz. now what i'm asking is, should i activate Intel Turbo boost technology my CPU supports aswell? will it cause damage or will it boost performance along with the mild overclocking OC Genie put up?

Turn it off, it conflicts with the overclock.

I would also recommend that you don't use automatic overclocking tools and instead learn how to adjust the multiplier and voltage manually. Automatic overclocking tools always allocate too much voltage which in turn creates more heat.

Cheers mate, i've heard it conflicts with the OC just wanted to mkae sure, + i can't really overclock by myself since the clock ratio gray's out and i can't tune it the way i like, the only way to increase the multiplier is with OC Genie
