Intel Turbo Boost

I've been reading quite a bit about Intel's Turbo Boost. What I'm still not entirely clear about is whether or not Turbo Boost is covered by Intel's warranty. I mean, it is overclocking... isn't it? Is it dangerous to use in any way or is it a safe-to-use feature supported by Intel's warranty?

If it wasn't covered by the warranty, it would not be enabled by default.

It's not overclocking. The CPUs were rated by intel for the speed increases caused by turboboost. Heck, they were even advertised.

yep, definitely. there's no problems using turbo
