News Intel Twin Lake CPU powers Chuwi's new 2-in-1 laptop and tablet — MiniBook X N150 and Hi10 X N150 features quad-core Intel N150 CPU

The article said:
Despite being low-power chips, Intel’s Twin Lake NX50 processors make laptops and tablets more affordable. This makes it perfect for kids, students, grandparents, and everyone who needs a laptop or tablet for basic internet access, light productivity, and entertainment.
This reads like ad copy.

These things have 4 Gracemont cores, with a turbo clock of 3.6 GHz. However, the turbo table probably limits dual-core boost to like 2.9 GHz and quad-core boost to 2.1 GHz, or thereabouts. Memory is limited to single-channel DDR4-3200 or DDR5-4800. PCIe is limited to 3.0.

More details, here:

It's okay for a spreadsheets, email, doc editing, and streaming stuff. It probably bogs, when loading ad-laden web pages, though. Definitely not for any but the most light-weight casual games.

The whole Twin Lake line has already started appearing in the router boxes out of China along side ADL-N in the same devices just with a slightly higher price. I'm a little disappointed that all they did was better bins, but I'm hopeful there will be something new in this space later this year or maybe early next

The current model, the N100, retails for about $350 on Amazon, and if you're just looking for something for basic productivity and entertainment, it'd be hard not to recommend something like the Google Pixel Tablet + a keyboard folio + USB-C dock, especially with Android 15's freeform window mode allowing for a Samsung DeX-like desktop experience. I imagine Windows 11 would stutter quite badly with the very anemic graphics on that chip.
