I'm trying to install Windows 10 on VirtualBox as a virtual machine, however it asks me to enable this feature from BIOS/UEFI settings. My question: is there any bad effects enabling this? like overheat of my CPU etc, what about my warranty? its safe to change the setting? ( sorry if this is a noob question )

thanks in advance

Yes, it's safe to use a feature that your CPU provides and no it won't cause overheating or void the warranty. It exists to make virtual machines like you're creating work better/faster.
