Hello all!
I have an AMD FX 8320 with a GTX 970 and I'm wondering if its time to jump over to Intel. I want to enjoy pc gaming but recently have found myself playing on the Xbox One because of inconsistent FPS. It seems no mater the settings I play on (Assassins Creed IV at the moment), I will still get hitching in the fps. For the most part games will run at 60 fps but when it drops below that, even when it drops to 59 fps I can feel difference. Will AMD provide more solid/steady fps. I am so sick of the inconsistent fps I am getting, so much that I would rather play on the X1 and get a constant 30 fps. Am I better off getting an i5 or something like that or is this just a thing with PC gaming? PS. All games that I play on PC usually drop below 60 fps at one point or another.
Specs.
CPU: AMD FX 8320 (3.5GHZ Stock)
GPU: Reference GTX 970 (OC)
RAM: 8 GB Ripjaw (1866 MHZ)
PSU: XFX XTR 750W Black Edition (80 Gold)
MB: MSI 970 Gaming
