Intel vs amd

I am going to make new gaming and video editing pc. i will choose amd or intel?

For gaming, Intel is by far the best. As for editing, many have different opinions, I personally cannot comment on editing.

well, as you might know there's kinda "war" between intel and AMD. but amd is cheaper. and intel is a bit faster. it doesn't really matter. you won't notice in game and the only thing you could notice is that the I7-cores are slightly faster als the AMD ones.

AMD FX-9590 is the same as I5-cores. I7 could be slightly faster. but that 0.000001 second u won't notice. i got the 9590 amd's and i'm glad i have this one because it's fast.

The i5 actually has slightly higher single threaded performance. But FX chips usually beat i5s and are close to i7s in multithreaded tasks like editing, transcoding and so on. For single threaded tasks Intel wins by a large margin.

For you assuming that you will most probably be operating in India.

In that case - go for Intel in favour of ( Performance/ watt, MUCH lower heat generation more, better options among related hardware to explore) etc

mostly gaming but i make my pc for all things

well i have the 9590 and gaming is fine. gta5, bf4 and all the other games running max settings. also editing will work good.

AMD only works if you know which components you're buying, with decent cooling in mind.

Intel works overall without overheating/throttling doesn't really matter the selection of components.

This is all aside from performance.
